Wired PR
A new online home, full of personality for a PR company specializing in tech
The Phoenix, based, tech-focused PR agency was ready for a website overhaul and a visual brand extension along with it.
The new website design informed styles for the brand extension which then informed the style of 5 posters showcasing the brand’s core values and commemorating its 10th year.
Iconography
The inspiration for the iconography lay in clean digital illustration and quirkiness. Many of the more complex icons become character-like, full of personality. The style is simple tech-vector with line-weight variance, negative space and simple geometry to give a mid-century feel. The Wired PR plug is used within iconography that symbolizes connection through out the icon set, which keeps in line with it’s use through out all brand and marketing assets.
The Content Circuit
Beth Cochran, CEO of Wired PR, had developed this method for content planning and repurposing to help the process go faster and make sure all assets are created with platform adaptations in mind. Essentially, a process for getting the most out of your content that you take so much time to create. Through lots of sketching and playing we developed the Content Circuit infographic below to show the variety of ways different platforms can be used in concert during a PR & digital marketing campaign.
Values Posters
New posters to signify their core value statements and celebrate 10 years in the business. We kept the design clean and incorporated the all-important Wired PR Plug into each of the posters as a brand touchpoint. The digital iconographic illustrations became characters in their own right. These characters were developed based on meaning and story derived from their respective core value they represent.
